BCS was founded in 1997 in order to meet the demands of a growing population, the developmentally challenged. BCS was the first private practice primarily oriented to providing services to this population. From providing services in the Shelby County area, BCS has grown to providing services in West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee. Consulting and direct clinical services have been provided in two other states as well.

 

In July 2004, the Behavioral Support Services Clinic was opened. This was the first behavioral analysis clinic providing primarily behavioral oriented services to West Tennessee consumers. BCS continues in it's mission to provide professionally competent mental health services to those in need.
